FITO PAEZ, THE SYMBOL OF ARGENTINE ROCK
Argentine author, composer, musician and film director Fito Paez, will perform for the first time at Starlite Catalana Occidente on Saturday, July 1st.
Since his first solo album in 1984 entitled “Del ’63”, Fito Paez impacted the world with his music with roots of rock, jazz, tango and folklore.
“Mariposa tecknicolor”, “11 Y 6”, “El amor después del amor”, “A rodar mi vida” or “Al lado del camino” are just some of the songs that have led him to be considered one of the most important exponents of Argentine Rock in the last three decades. Standing out among the best and greatest Argentine and Latin American musicians of all time, his career of more than four decades has been awarded with 11 Latin Grammy Awards and a Grammy Award, receiving in 2021 the Latin Grammy Award for musical excellence.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the best-selling album in the history of Argentine rock, “El amor después del amor”, Paez recently announced its re-recording, with new guest artists. “The idea is to transform it, revisit it and do new things to it”, declared the artist. A current look for one of the most transcendental works of his career.
Undoubtedly, Saturday July 1st will be a unique opportunity to enjoy the live performance of one of the most interesting artists of the international scene, in the incomparable setting of Starlite Catalana Occidente.
